An insider at Digital Chat Station reported that Apple has decided on the format of its first foldable device. The company is developing a Fold-style clamshell phone with an external and internal screen. The external display measures 5.49 inches, while the internal display measures 7.74 inches. This will likely be a premium model of the new iPhone, but it's also possible we'll see something like an iPad Mini in a new form factor.

The device will also feature a new Face ID system with metal lenses, which will combine the technology's receiver and transmitter, allowing for smaller on-screen components. The device is still in prototype form, and its release isn't expected until 2027.
