Huge decline in Battlefield 6 players – the whole truth! 
After launching vigorously in October 2025 with a peak of nearly 750k simultaneous players on Steam, the number of players has dropped significantly in recent months to just under 100k active players at the daily peak and may drop to occasionally 30k on the platform.
The game ratings on Steam have also changed from “Mostly Positive” to “Mixed” with thousands of new ratings coming in.
The most prominent reasons for this setback in the community's opinion:• Lack of strong content after launch.
• The boring progression system for some players.
• Technical complaints and the gameplay experience itself.
