Hezbollah militants in Lebanon fired 100 rockets at Israel on Wednesday, so overloading Israel's already vaunted Iron Dome missile defense system that only half of them were shot down, an IDF source exclusively told The Post.
In response, the Israel Defense Forces is preparing a ground invasion of Lebanon, a source said on Wednesday. The attacks by an Iranian proxy militant group and the Israeli counteroffensive mark a new front in the ongoing joint US-Israeli military mission, which the US has dubbed Operation Epic Fury.
"The IDF will not tolerate any harm to Israeli civilians and will use force against any threat emanating from the State of Israel," an IDF spokesman said.
