DataLife Engine 19.1 was released in February 2026. The CMS received significant changes. Let's take a look at the main ones.
- Yandex Smart CAPTCHA has been added to the CMS. Go to Yandex, get the keys, enter them in the settings, and receive protection for registration, comments, and feedback.
- Two-factor authentication has also been improved. It is now independent of external services. All QR codes are generated within DLE. Users can forget about failures due to errors from third-party resources.
- PDFs no longer load through third-party widgets. The file opens directly in the browser. Data isn't sent to third-party servers, meaning your internet speed will only improve.
- Datalife Engine 19.1 has received an AI enhancement. It can now automatically populate meta tags. A dedicated button has been added to the admin panel (in the article addition interface). When clicked, the neural network reads the text and generates the title, description, and keywords. Edits from the owner are minimal.
- The update affected the news: similar news articles are no longer pulled up alongside older ones. You can set a date limit, and only recent materials will appear in the block.
- Social media has also been updated. The system now uses the image from the first news item in the category for the announcement. The link to the post now looks more professional.
- Hidden text has become a visible block. It can be easily moved, copied, and deleted. Double-clicking it allows you to configure access rights. This block can also be styled using CSS.
- DLE 19.1 allows you to disable old additional fields without losing data. They will disappear from the creation form, but will remain in older articles.
- The [custom] conditional tags have also been updated, now in the tag:
- the comma is interpreted as "AND", the vertical bar as "OR";
- You can set a daily rating limit for each user group. Set five votes per day for guests, and bots will be powerless.
- We've added a convenient feature: code highlighting in private messages. Breadcrumbs now display the correct headers.
- Disabled cache will no longer load unnecessary modules;
- Search for similar news has been accelerated;
- The template engine and tags have been rewritten: pages are built faster.
