Isa Khan Niazi was a noble at the courts of Sher Shah Suri.
The tomb is octagonal in shape which is the hallmark of Lodhi architectural style. It was built mainly with grey quartzite with red sandstone used for ornamentation. Different coloured tiles have been used on the walls for decoration.
The mausoleum was built in 1547-1548 during the reign of Sher Shah Suri.
It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage site complex.
