The Iranian army used upgraded Arash-2 kamikaze drones to attack fuel tanks at Tel Aviv Airport. These drones have a range of up to 2,000 kilometers and are extremely stealthy.
The military department emphasized that the Arash-2's assembly, launch preparation, and operation are quick, allowing for their widespread use. The army also noted the drones' cost-effectiveness, stating that their production is less expensive than interception systems.
The report also noted that the drones are capable of staying airborne for extended periods, increasing their potential for striking remote targets. The Iranian military claims the attack targeted fuel tanks used to service tanker aircraft.
